Custom Shelter the centre piece of new playspace!

The City of Greater Bendigo has completed its new $1.3 million Eaglehawk Regional Play Space, set to become the largest and most unique play space to be built in Greater Bendigo.

The new play space is shaped like a giant eagle hawk and caters to children of all ages. It also features custom designed play equipment inspired by the famous Banjo Patterson poem Mulga Bill’s Bicycle which starts with the line “Twas Mulga Bill from Eaglehawk”

StraBe Group worked with the City of Greater Bendigo to design, manufacture and install the new BBQ shelter which forms the centrepiece of the park. Designed to depict an eagle hawk in flight, the curves form an impressive structure which frames the project.

StraBe Group Congratulate to the City of Greater Bendigo on their Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Victorian Regional Achievement Award for Eaglehawk Playspace on the shores of beautiful Lake Nungar.
