The heritage flour mill at Summer Hill has received a second life. Hassell worked with the developer to transform an iconic industrial site in Sydney’s inner west to a lively new community of homes, shops and community space. With new landscaping in the open spaces and pedestrian links throughout the site, Summer Hill combines all the elements for a great lifestyle together. The vibrant mix of proposed uses – such as cafes, studios and small retail opportunities – gives the site an authentic ‘village’ atmosphere that complements the existing feel of the suburb. StraBe Group was selected to work with the builder and landscaper to deliver the bespoke furniture, boardwalk and decks for this iconic project.
