Prahran High School is a co-educational secondary school built as part of the Victorian Governments $5.6 billion infrastructure spend, building and renewing educational institutions across the state. A central feature of the design is a series of cascading bleachers that interconnect the various levels, while acting as informal learning and gathering spaces. Learning spaces on each level open to communal outdoor learning terraces. This innovative vertical school welcomed its first students in term 1, 2019.
StraBe Group worked with Kane Constructions to design, manufacture and install the custom outdoor seating, tables, stages and grass seating blocks.
