A celebration of the site’s maritime heritage, Seafarers Rest is a 3,500 sqm public waterfront park redefining riverfront living and hospitality, featuring bespoke seating by Strabe Group.
The project a reflects on a time past, with elements of the furniture skillfully designed to represent the shipping crates and industrial vibe of the area. Central to the Seafarers redevelopment is the Heritage Traveling Crane. The connection across the Yarra, with green spaces that are uncluttered proving a seamless flow with easy stop and sit area and nooks with out any elements being intrusive. Raised lawn areas provide a designated walking routes that provide flow through the public open space.
